Dr. Michelle Kelly

Associate Professor-Emirates College for Advanced Education

Dr Michelle Kelly is an Associate Professor in the Counseling, Special Education, and Neuroscience Division at Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE). She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) and a Chartered Behavioral Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from University College Cork (Ireland), and a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the University of Galway (Ireland). She obtained her Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) diploma in Melbourne, Australia and taught neurotypical children, teenagers and adults in Seoul (South Korea), Tanzania (East Africa), and Barcelona (Spain) before returning to Ireland to work with students of determination as a behaviour specialist. Dr Michelle has an ongoing, strong commitment to community outreach and is an active researcher who publishes in top-ranking, peer-reviewed journals in the areas of skill acquisition, remediation of learning deficits, and behaviour analytic strategies in educational settings.
